Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a talented professional with experience in mining operations and optimization techniques. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions to maximize profitability and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and review projects and operations to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement optimization scenarios to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new processes and procedures
  • Conduct detailed reviews of existing mine life scenarios to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure that selected scenarios contribute to the enhancement of Agnico Eagle's value
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mining engineering or a related field
  • Several years of experience in mining operations or consulting
  • Advanced knowledge of mining operations and financial aspects of the industry
  • Ability to run scenarios analysis and economic study
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
