Job Title: Intervention Specialist

Brenda Roznowski is seeking a highly skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with clients to provide support and assistance in various aspects of their lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide education and support to clients with varying abilities, including those who are blind or have low vision.
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as braille reading and writing, and American Sign Language (ASL) communication.
  • Conduct criminal record checks, adult abuse registry checks, and vulnerable sector checks as required.
  • Ensure clients have access to necessary transportation and travel information.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed.
  • Develop and maintain efficient interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Ensure client focus and dependability in all aspects of the job.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
