At AGAT Laboratories, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Environmental division in Dartmouth. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to both management and the Client Services Team, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional client service.

","Key Responsibilities:" : "
  • Provide administrative support to the Client Services Team, including Client Services Representatives and the Client Services Supervisor or Client Services Manager.
  • Ensure delegated client requests are completed in a timely and accurate manner, including submission of bottle orders, re-assignment and re-analysis requests.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as prompt delivery of Sample Receipt Notifications, Results and Invoices within required turnaround time.
  • Prepare and submit quotes and standing offers.
  • Notify clients of sample integrity issues.
  • Verify work orders and make corrections as necessary.
  • Liaise with other departments, including Sales, Lab and Finance for client information.
  • Review and summarize miscellaneous reports.
  • Prepare meeting and presentation materials.
  • Relieve Management of administrative functions.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum High School Diploma.
  • Diploma or Degree in Science or Administration an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year customer service and administrative experience.
  • Confident computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office and Excel, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Reporting Systems).
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and members of the team, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent planning, organization, decision making and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail for routine tasks and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit patience and customer rapport building expertise.
