Vertex Construction & Management Services is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial construction.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
