Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at PL Constructions & Excavations. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Maintain and repair existing structures, including residences and wooden structures in various settings.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience working in confined spaces, dusty environments, and various locations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
Work Environment:

As a Carpenter at PL Constructions & Excavations, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. You will be required to work overtime and handle physically demanding tasks.
