LIDA NOOR POUR is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and linen care.
- Plan and implement therapeutic diets and menus, as needed.
- Provide companionship and social support to clients.
- Assist clients with exercise and physical activity, such as walking.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment:
- Non-smoking environment.
- Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (note: this is not a condition of employment).
- Work in the employer's/client's home.
Language: English
Hours: 30 hours per week
Work Term: Permanent
