Ready Mix Driver

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Ready Mix Driver to join our team at Miller Paving Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a conveyor concrete truck to deliver bulk concrete to our customers.
Your main task will be to adhere to our main protocols, including pre- and post-trip inspections, equipment cleanliness, paperwork and product checks at loading and offloading points, some maintenance on equipment, and communicating any issues and repairs with the Shop and Logistics Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a conveyor concrete truck to deliver bulk concrete to customers
- Adhere to our main protocols, including pre- and post-trip inspections, equipment cleanliness, and paperwork and product checks
- Perform some maintenance on equipment and communicate any issues and repairs with the Shop and Logistics Manager
- Maintain good working knowledge of the traffic routes and customer locations to ensure timely delivery to the correct customer and site
- A valid DZ driver's license
- Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and municipal bylaws
- Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions and willingness to travel to other work sites
- Experience driving a ready-mix concrete truck
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with general equipment maintenance
- Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 50lbs
