Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform future decisions.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Work Scheduling and Planning

Establish work schedules and plans to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

College/CEGEP or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Language and Work Schedule

Fluent in English, with a 35 to 40 hour work week.
