Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Software Development: Apply your development experience to deliver microservices in the cloud (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
- Project Implementation: Project implementations and application integration.
- Technical Documentation: Technical documentation of the solution.
- Issue Resolution: Support production issues and handle escalations during Release cycles as needed.
- Mentorship: Mentor and guide team members in technical knowledge with best coding practices.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues to identify the root cause of the problem.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Provide expert advice to key stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Team Collaboration: Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
- Experience: At least 7 years of work experience as a Java developer.
- Technical Skills: Experience building scalable, enterprise-level technology stacks with Java, SOAP, and JSON.
- Application Architecture: Experience in application architecture and API design.
- Microservices: Proficiency in building Microservices and Spring Boot.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes.
- Software Development Life Cycle: Experience working with all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Unix Tools: Proficiency with Unix Tools, shell scripting (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.), SQL queries, PL/SQL, and SQL Loader - or equivalent.
- Security: Experience in developing security systems and analyzing the current systems for vulnerabilities.
- Version Control: Experience in version control and build tools, like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven.
- Frameworks: Familiarity with a variety of frameworks (server-side, infrastructure, browser side, desktop, etc.) and a high aptitude for diving in and picking up new things.
- Agile Principles: A well-rounded knowledge of Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and evolving environments.
- Wealth Management: Solid understanding of wealth management concepts and workflows.
