About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tony's Pasta & Seafood House. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our kitchen and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service and food quality.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help them grow in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operations Management: Establish work schedules, and maintain a fast-paced and efficient environment that meets the needs of our customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere
  • Supervision: 3-4 people
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of physical activity
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude
