About the Role:

Axis Family Resources Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Casual Withdrawal Management Worker to join our dynamic team. This is a casual, on-call position requiring a strong commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals experiencing substance use disorders and mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based withdrawal management services to clients with substance use disorders.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, person-centered care.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and community partners.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. community services, health care aid, human services).
• Experience working with vulnerable populations and individuals with substance use disorders.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
