Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate and instruct various skiing and snowboarding techniques to individuals and groups of students.
  2. Assist in coordinating recreational, sports, and fitness events.
  3. Plan and execute engaging activities for participants.
  4. Lead and instruct groups and individuals effectively.
  5. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
  6. Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all participants.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications
  1. Certification as a Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) or Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance Certification.
  2. 1 year of experience in the ski instruction field.
  3. Prior experience with group leadership and coordination is preferred.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Possess flexibility, initiative, and reliability.

Salary: Estimated salary range $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. The actual salary will be discussed during the hiring process.

Location: Silver Star Mountain Resort, British Columbia, Canada.
