Job Title: Chef de Partie

La Baracca is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks and other culinary team members.
  • Ensure that all food meets quality standards and is presented in an appealing manner.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient food preparation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions:

40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
