Job Title: Painter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Painter Specialist to join our team at International Fence & Railings Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, as well as repairing cracks and holes. They will also mix paint to the desired color and texture, measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 to 44 hours of work per week
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in various locations, with a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
