Are you passionate about creating meaningful experiences for seniors? Do you have a knack for planning engaging activities and programs? We're seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our team at Aspira Pacifica Retirement Living.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement recreation programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction and community engagement.
- Assist in setting up activity areas and transporting residents to and from programs as needed.
- Monitor resident interests, needs, and progress, and maintain accurate records.
- Promote social interaction among residents through leadership of assigned activities and special events.
- Diploma or Certificate in recreation/leisure studies or equivalent.
- Experience working with seniors, including an understanding of motivation concepts.
- Understanding of leisure principles and computer proficiency.
- Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
