Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Saskatchewan Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces, as well as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, including loading buspans and trays, replenishing condiments and supplies, and packaging take-out food.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Smart Serve
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and ability to multitask.
