About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our staff who prepare and portion food. This includes ensuring that our staff are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Train and Develop Staff

You will be responsible for training and developing our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and to maintain the high standards of our restaurant.

Quality Control

You will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet quality control standards. This includes monitoring the quality of our food, ensuring that our staff are following proper food handling and preparation procedures, and addressing any quality control issues that may arise.

Record Keeping

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage. This includes tracking inventory levels, monitoring sales trends, and identifying areas for improvement.

Work Environment

As a Shift Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure and to maintain a high level of productivity. You will be standing for extended periods and will be required to lift and move heavy objects.
