Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Absolute Craftsmen Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and repair of buildings, structures, and other objects made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Working at heights training and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Operating hand tools and equipment, including power tools.
  • Transporting materials and equipment to and from work sites.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety equipment/gear.
  • Excellent written communication, accuracy, reliability, and team player skills.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with varying work sites and locations. The position requires the ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions, and outdoors.
