Salary Range


The salary range for this role is CAD $62,100 per year (Dixie Road location).



About the Role


This is a full-time, permanent position working at our head office on Dixie Road (Mississauga) and within the community (75% travel required). The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, providing high-quality clinical services to clients.



Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk and psychosocial assessments, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Therapeutic Counselling: Provide ongoing therapeutic counselling, case management, and client support, facilitating both individual and group sessions as required.
  • Hospital Liaison: Act as a bridge between hospital in-patient services and PAARC's community programs, ensuring clients experience a seamless transition.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and timely documentation, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Experience in substance abuse counselling, with knowledge of withdrawal management and trauma-informed care.
  • Familiarity with anti-racism, anti-oppression frameworks, and a commitment to these principles.
  • Ability to work in different environments, including hospital settings and community locations.
  • Comfortable with extensive keyboarding and use of office technology.
