Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Administrative Lead to join our team at the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at ipss inc. As a Strategic Administrative Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the CISO office by providing exceptional administrative support, coordinating projects, and leading initiatives that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to support workload priorities for the division.
- Coordinate and provide strategic support on projects/initiatives, research activities, and issues management within the CISO office.
- Provide senior-level administrative support, advice, and guidance to directors on key initiatives and policies, anticipating and initiating appropriate action on incoming issues and recommending course of actions or solutions.
- Act as the central contact for the section, responding to inquiries from all divisions, agencies, boards, corporations, and commissions, ensuring that directors are fully briefed on issues requiring their attention in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner.

Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Business or Technology or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience providing administrative support to senior management, handling a broad range of administrative matters, standard office practices, and procedures.
- Considerable experience in preparing agendas, taking minutes at meetings, and identifying items for follow-up.
- Experience working in a cyber security environment is an asset.
- Ability to identify needs, initiate, coordinate, and manage projects.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint presentation skills, and internet navigation and research.

- Ability to work with the broader IT organization and business management to align priorities and plans with key business objectives.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead under pressure, make decisions in ambiguous situations, and drive cross-functional collaboration in a short period of time.
- Demonstrated influence and persuasion skills, able to present to senior levels.
- Strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies, and policies.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and make decisions and recommendations with limited data.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage competing priorities and projects.
