Job Title: Personal Support Aide

Copper Terrace Limited is seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Aide to join our team. As a Personal Support Aide, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Work Setting

Our nursing home is located in a rural area, providing a peaceful and serene environment for our residents. As a Personal Support Aide, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to our residents with a variety of needs.

Responsibilities
  • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Collect specimens
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Provide personal care
  • Provide companionship
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Feed or assist in feeding
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
