Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barber to join our team at RAVI HAIR & BEAUTY ACADEMY LTD. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for delivering exceptional haircuts and services.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in barbering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts, shaving, and other services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Provide additional hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones and handling client inquiries
  • Maintain and order supplies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a busy salon environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. This role requires manual dexterity and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary

$40,000 - $50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
