Secondary School Administrator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Secondary Principal. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of educators and supporting the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional leadership and support to teachers and staff
- Develop and implement school improvement plans
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the community
- Manage and allocate resources to support student learning
- Collaborate with other school leaders to achieve district goals
Requirements:
- Seven (7) years successful teaching/administrative experience
- Teaching experience of two divisions and/or specialized areas within the school system
- Certificate of Qualification and Registration in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
- Master of Education (preferred)
- Special Education, Part 1 (preferred)
- Addressing Anti-Black Racism to Change Pedagogy and Practice, Part 1 or equivalent (preferred)
- Completed Principals qualifications according to Regulation 298: Section 9 (Principals Certificate Part I and Part II or equivalent)
- Completed Religious Education Specialist or equivalency
- Completed Modules I & II of the Boards current Catholic Leadership Program or equivalent
- Committed to, or completion of, Equity and Inclusion Training Part I, with a commitment to complete Part II within the first year of appointment
- Pastoral Reference for a Leadership Position in Catholic Education (dated within the last twelve months)
- Recommendation from your current supervising Superintendent
