About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Engineering Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing product design integrity throughout its production life cycle. This includes identifying, incorporating, and coordinating changes to the product baseline, providing support to the Technical Authority, and understanding the cause and effect of changes affecting program schedule, quality, and cost.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Manage product design integrity throughout its production life cycle
  • Identify, incorporate, and coordinate changes to the product baseline
  • Provide support to the Technical Authority
  • Understand the cause and effect of changes affecting program schedule, quality, and cost
  • Demonstrate project leadership behaviors of integrity, respect, and excellence
  • Lead/participate in project scrums, daily production cell team meetings, etc.
  • Participate in and/or generate NRE estimates for sustaining product design changes
  • Prepare design stage gate review packages aligned to requirements detailed as per the new product introduction company standard
  • Presents to various levels of cross-functional leadership in design reviews and various business meetings
  • Maintain project schedules and overall build schedules to meet integrated master schedule milestones and/or customer contract deliverables
  • Participate in the management and/or technically manage the sustaining projects and provide monthly cost and schedule updates
  • Ensure engineering manpower databases accurately reflect sustaining engineering demand for your projects
  • Manage smaller level loaded sustaining engineering activities for designated products
  • Support the monthly RIB meetings
  • Participate in the management and/or technically manage reliability engineering projects and provide monthly cost and schedule updates
  • Support CSG repairs and upgrades
  • Coach junior team members on project management/manufacturing best practices, methodologies, and lessons learned
  • Compliance with companies Quality Management System
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, or
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a project management capacity managing complex projects
  • PMP Certification is an asset
  • P.Eng license is an asset
  • Experience presenting to executive and/or senior leadership
  • Well-rounded project management background with experience in a high-tech environment
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year (dependent on experience). L3Harris Technologies offers a comprehensive compensation package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
