About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Maki Sushi & Noodle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
