Main Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement project plans and job requirements.
2. Foster open communication and collaboration with crew members, Project Coordinator, and Office team to achieve project objectives.
3. Conduct regular safety inspections, perform hazard assessments, and document findings.
4. Ensure proper cleanup of completed projects and maintain accurate records.
5. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders including customers, municipality, community representatives, and subcontractors.
6. Manage reporting and documentation related to project status, vehicle and equipment maintenance, safety, and time tracking.
7. Complete in-house training programs and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
Requirements:
1. Strong understanding of utility locates and relevant industry standards.
2. Experience in shoring techniques and procedures.
3. Skilled in installing fire hydrants, valves, fittings, water services, and sewer repairs.
4. High school diploma or equivalent.
5. Relevant outdoor trade-related experience.
6. Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
7. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project priorities and demands.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. Prior experience in landscaping, civil works, and/or CCTV preferred.
10. Willingness to travel for Fer-Pal projects across Canada.
