As an Emergency Medical Responder, you will transport patients from emergency scenes and between facilities, operating ambulances and assessing patients to provide necessary treatments. You will also ensure that ambulances are properly stocked and equipped.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport patients from emergency scenes and between facilities
- Operate ambulances and assess patients to provide necessary treatments
- Ensure ambulances are properly stocked and equipped
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Emergency Medical Responder program
- Active registration with Alberta College of Paramedics as an Emergency Medical Responder
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider certification
- Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six demerits
