Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Support Technician to join our team at Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Barrie. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Network Administration: Manage and maintain computer networks, including setting up equipment, performing backups, and ensuring proper installation of cables and software.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other technical support analysts to resolve complex issues and improve overall team performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills.
