Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Support Technician to join our team at Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Barrie. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks
  • Configure and troubleshoot computer networks, including setup and installation of cables, operating systems, and software
  • Perform regular backups and recovery operations for our web servers
  • Collaborate with other technical support analysts to resolve complex technical issues
  • Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of technical solutions and best practices
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of network protocols and configurations
