The Ville de Côte Saint-Luc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Law Student Professional to provide administrative support to the General Advisor and Purchasing Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or a student looking to gain experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Research and Reporting: Conduct thorough research, compile, and prepare reports on various legal topics, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Contract Management: Maintain up-to-date records of contracts and ensure compliance with legal requirements for posting on the OAIS website.
- Administrative Support: Manage routine office requests, respond to correspondence, and maintain tracking systems to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Document Preparation: Draft legal documents, letters, reports, agenda items, presentations, and emails, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Communication: Independently respond to correspondence without the need for verification, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess a strong understanding of legal terminology, research methods, and procedures, as well as proficiency in standard office software and internet research principles.
- Language Skills: Demonstrate good knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling in English and French.
- Confidentiality and Cooperation: Respect confidentiality, if required, and maintain good cooperation with other employees.
