About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer/Analyst to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing conceptual and detail design engineering work on mechanical equipment and systems, as well as process-related D2O, oil hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical equipment and systems, including conceptual and detail design
  • Prepare design documentation, including design requirements, specifications, and technical reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide feedback on design documents
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills to stay current with industry developments

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics from an accredited university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in machine, automation, equipment, and/or tooling design
  • Registered or eligible to be registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
