Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Statewide Float Nurse. This role will involve temporarily filling in at multiple Wisconsin branch locations, covering open positions as directed by the Statewide Clinical Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessments, plan of care development, and implementation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and families.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in on-call duties and attend interdisciplinary group meetings as required.
- Supervise ancillary personnel and delegate responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- One to two years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting, and one to two years of recent experience in home care preferred.
- Ability to pass DHS background study.
- Valid State Driver's License, automobile in good working order, automobile insurance in accordance with state and organizational requirements, and an acceptable driving record required.
