About the Role

Villa Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Roofer to join our team. As a key member of our roofing crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing sheet metal roofs and walls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and Mark Sheet Metal: Accurately measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and specifications.
  • Cut and Fabricate Sheet Metal: Cut sheet metal materials using power tools or by hand, and fabricate parts as required.
  • Install Sheet Metal Products: Install sheet metal products, such as roofing and wall cladding, according to specifications and building codes.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repair of sheet metal products.
  • Work in a Variety of Environments: Work in various locations, including construction sites, and in a variety of weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in sheet metal roofing and fabrication, or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
