Electrician Technician

Precision Rentals is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. As an essential member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of our surface equipment, well site and camp units, and generator buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular maintenance on well site trailers and camp units, including plumbing, electrical, and satellite receiver repairs.
- Conduct oil changes and minor generator/engine repairs.
- Perform regular maintenance on 400 bbl tanks, horizontal invert/brine tanks, and Gorman Rupp Pumps.
- Test and inspect electrical systems to identify issues and perform repairs.
- Install, rig in/out, and repair various types of equipment, including well-site accommodations, 400 bbl tanks, and generator buildings.
- Clean, repair, and paint equipment as needed.
- Perform other general shop tasks as assigned.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and current Driver's Abstract.
- Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO, and FIRST AID certifications.
- Excellent safety record and commitment to a safe work environment.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Vocational post-secondary graduate of an approved certified electrical red seal journeyman program or equivalent required.
- Electrical Technician certification considered an asset.
- 2+ years' experience working with drilling rig equipment considered an asset.
