Global Supply Chain Optimization Director

Nestlé SA operates in over 60 countries, with a strong presence in North America through its Montreal location. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
About the Role
The Global Supply Chain Optimization Director will lead cross-functional projects across Demand and Supply Planning (DSP), focusing on strategic, long-term change in inventory management and working capital. This includes driving improvement initiatives in forecasting accuracy and inventory planning across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly forecast reviews, process, and negotiation with commercial functions to drive opportunities and risks for target growth.
- Create a highly empowered, motivated DSP team by setting clear performance expectations and coaching for continuous improvements.
- Develop a vision, strategy, and roadmap for End-to-End DSP/Plan to Execute processes, KPIs across the DSP team, and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver on that vision.
- Define key performance indicators, monitor, and benchmark performance with similar Nespresso Markets or Nestlé counterparts.
- Achieve network stability in both short and long term across all distribution centers and ports of entry through long-term demand and supply planning strategies focusing on inventory management, capacity planning, production/manufacturing planning, and movement of goods.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 8-10 years of relevant operational experience within DSP.
- 5+ years in managing a Monthly Business Planning cycle (Sales and Operations Planning/Consensus).
- 5+ years' experience in effective people management required.
- Strong negotiation skills, project, and trade-off management.
- Knowledge in product portfolio management.
- Experience with a demand statistical tool (OMP, SAS, SAP/APO, etc.) is an asset.
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, SQL, and reporting tools such as Cognos or Business Intelligence) required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to foster relationships quickly and manage multiple senior stakeholders.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
