About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Mountain Warehouse. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing your team to ensure consistent performance and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer service through team engagement and excellent product knowledge
- Maximize store sales potential and profitability, driving key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Deliver company standards to the highest level, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Visual merchandising and product launches, showcasing our brand's latest offerings
- Be a brand ambassador, representing Mountain Warehouse's values and mission
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Retail management experience from a fast-paced background
- Excellent people skills, with a proven track record of leading, developing, and motivating a team
- Strong organizational skills, with a focus on time management and efficiency
- A passion for selling and customer engagement, with a drive to deliver exceptional results
- A record of commercial success and awareness, with a keen eye for opportunities
- Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising, with a creative approach to store displays
- Awareness of the local and competitor market, with a deep understanding of customer needs
- Clothing experience is desirable but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training
- A passion, enthusiasm, and a hands-on attitude, with a commitment to excellence
