Job Title: Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aquarium Depot. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming products, and maintain accurate records on inventory control systems.
  • Warehouse Operations: Clean and maintain the warehouse, store items in designated areas, and prepare requisition orders to replenish stock.
  • Customer Service: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, and provide excellent oral and written communication to internal teams.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Process incoming requisitions, prepare and track work orders, and ship, deliver, or pick up products as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Working Conditions:
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
Personal Suitability:
  • Client Focus: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Dependability: Reliable and organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
