About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Moose Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and implement work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Supervision and Training: Perform same duties as workers supervised, provide guidance and training to ensure staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, providing insights and recommendations to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving and Quality Control: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Guest Services: Assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring their requirements are met and they have a positive experience.
  • Work Assignment and Review: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Staff Management: Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as needed to maintain optimal levels of inventory.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
