Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and WebDriverIO
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts to evaluate the functionality and performance of user interfaces and APIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities
  • Develop and maintain test data and test environments
  • Identify and report automation-related issues and defects
  • Develop and maintain automation-related documentation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering
  • Proficient experience with writing and executing manual and test automation scripts
  • Extensive experience in functional programming languages such as Ruby, Java/JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.
  • Proven working knowledge and ability with REST API testing tools, such as Postman and SoapUI
  • Solid working ability with load and performance testing processes and frameworks
  • Top-notch analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Solid ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a cross-functional team environment
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent certification(s) are a definite plus
  • Knowledge of and experience with Azure DevOps is an asset
