The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Director of Operations by managing payroll and accounts payable functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex financial data. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing and accounts payable functions and be familiar with payroll systems (e.g., Ceridian).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll databases, timesheets, and employee profiles in Ceridian.
- Review and approve timesheets and expenses for bi-weekly payroll submissions.
- Resolve payroll-related queries efficiently.
- Review and reconcile payments to suppliers and ensure compliance with internal financial processes.
- Monitor market conditions for fair crew compensation and assist with budget tracking.
- Prepare statistical and financial reports to support the Director of Operations.
- Develop and implement enhancements to systems and processes.
