Broad View International Film Festival Society (BVIFF) is seeking a volunteer Treasurer who will play a vital role in the organization's financial management. The successful candidate will have a passion for cinema and a strong interest in the advancement of women in the arts.

The Treasurer will be responsible for attending monthly meetings, assisting with financial tasks, and providing information to support grant applications and other financial reports. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance and/or accounting, and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Broad View recently acquired its first office space, and the Treasurer will have the opportunity to use this space as required. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of a dynamic arts organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with financial tasks, including grant applications and GST reports
  • Providing financial information to support the organization's goals and objectives
  • Attending monthly meetings and contributing to the organization's decision-making process
