Job Title: Senior Director of Information Risk Management

At Sofina Foods Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Information Risk Management to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plant-level strategies to address and/or control risks in the workplace.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and technical expertise to direct reports and site management to ensure management engagement and accountability in H&S.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and legislated requirements, including development of training plans.
  • Constantly promote, monitor, and evaluate safety programs and practices to make recommendations.
  • Provide reports and statistical information to management.
  • Develop and implement strategies that create 'safety engagement' amongst employees and supervisors.
Requirements:
  • 10 years' experience in a progressively senior H&S role.
  • Diploma or Degree in a recognized Occupational Health & Safety program or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Possess Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation or working towards designation is an asset.
  • Knowledge of applicable Provincial safety legislation/ regulations and Occupational Health and Safety standards.
