About the Role:

The Aircraft Structures Engineer III is a key member of our engineering team, responsible for designing and analyzing aircraft structures, systems, and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace engineering principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design alterations to aircraft structure, systems, equipment, and furnishings.
  • Produce detailed part, assembly, and installation drawings.
  • Analyze structures using hand calculations, finite element, fatigue, and damage tolerance methods.
  • Prepare, revise, check, and approve design and engineering documents.
  • Conduct engineering conformity inspections.
  • Ensure all design and administrative paperwork related to project work is maintained in accordance with the company DAPM and Engineering Procedures Manual.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or civil engineering.
  • Advanced job-related degrees an asset.
  • P. Eng. designation from a recognized Canadian engineering association preferred.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite, CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks preferred), and FEMAP or ANSYS.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and constructively with colleagues and customers.
