About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Saanichton Coffee Shop. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our café.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Operations Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
Working Conditions
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
