We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at the Minto Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the FP&A team in completing forecasting, management reporting, and analysis for entities within the Minto Group.
Key Responsibilities- Support the FP&A team to ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables
- Data entry and data manipulation in financial models
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly cashflows
- Assist with quarterly forecasts
- Assist with the preparation of board reporting materials
- Assist with the continuous improvement of budgeting and forecasting models
- Respond to ad hoc financial queries and perform special projects as assigned
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
- Experience preparing cashflows and/or financial analysis is an asset
- Experience with Yardi, Workiva, and OneStream is considered an asset
- Ability to grasp new technology tools
- Interest in pursuing the CPA or CFA designation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to function efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to frequently transition between working independently and supporting team initiatives
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members and other departments
