About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at MARCHÙ D’ALIMENTATION COREEN MTL. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Replenishment: Load buspans and trays, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, scour pots and pans, and keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Food Preparation: Package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers’ orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, and sharpen kitchen knives.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. You must be able to multitask, work efficiently, and maintain attention to detail.
