Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Prestige Lakeside Resort Nelson. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste receptacles
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Vacuum and mop floors, and clean carpets and upholstered furniture
  • Restock linens, toiletries, and other amenities
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the resort
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
