About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at A-1 Care Home Inc. as a key member of our housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained, including floors, furniture, and equipment.
  • Laundry and Linen: Wash, dry, and fold linens and laundry, and distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms, changing rooms, and showers, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Health care institution, facility, or clinic.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Initiative, organized, reliable, team player, and honesty.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
