This is a critical position that plays a key role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients through the provision of safe and nutritious meals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the preparation, assembly, and distribution of patient meal service, adhering to strict food safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and portion food items according to defined portion sizes and tray tickets;
  • Assemble meal trays accurately and stock and replenish food and supplies in designated areas;
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, smallwares, and service areas;
  • Lables and delivers carts to designated areas;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in food service, preferably in a hospital setting;
  • A valid Food Handlers Certificate;
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English effectively;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • The physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods;
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
