About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at DAISY MART. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
  • Financial Management: Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Create and manage schedules, ensure adequate staffing, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, inventory levels, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, respond to customer inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service to drive sales and customer loyalty.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, provide coaching and feedback, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a 32-40 hour workweek
